Building Help --> Vertical Viper Coaster

Vertical Viper Coaster

General Tips
  • Follow the orientation of the blue and gray connectors carefully as you build.
  • As you complete each level, gently press down on the structure from the top in a few spots to assure that all pieces are fully hooked together. The model should feel slightly "springy" of all is attached properly.
  • Flex each section of tracking to loosen it up before building. Follow the side rails of the tracking in your instruction book carefully to see where and how the twists and turns are formed (use Page 22, Step 34 just above the number 34 as an example of the twist).
  • Be sure you have the connectors on the correct side of the tracking as you build - if your track keeps popping off the roller coaster structure it is possible that you have the connectors attached to the wrong side of the track - if attached properly you should feel them "snap" into place.
  • If a piece of tracking you have just added pops off, try adding the next piece before going back and hooking the previous piece into place - this will balance out the pressure on the connection.
  • Chain - Your chain may occasionally get caught on the black Chain Guides. When this happens the chain will stop moving and you will hear the motor clicking. Simply re-position the Chain between the Guides to stop the problem. Also, be sure to count and make sure you have the appropriate number of chain links put together. You may actually get a piece or two more included in the bag than what is called for in the instructions!

Specific Building Help
  • Page 25, Step 40 - If your track pops off occasionally as the car goes around the track, try flipping the gray Connector at Step 39 so its prongs face the opposite direction before hooking it into place.
