Presidents Message

Dear K’NEX friends and family,

I am excited to announce that the winners of our third “K’NEX Great Thrill Ride Build-Off” contest have been chosen. One of the three winning models will be on display beside life sized thrill rides at each of the participating parks all summer long: Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio; Valley Fair in Shakopee, Minnesota and Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. We’re amazed by the K’NEX creations that the middle and high school students imagined and built! If you’re near any other the three amusement parks, be sure to stop on by and check them out!

Speaking of amazement, I would be remiss not to mention the winners of our annual K’NEXpert Classroom Challenge. The problem solving skills that these elementary school students exhibited reminds me that our future is in very good hands.

Finally, as a follow-up to last month’s message, thanks to you we had a successful fundraiser for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. For the sixth year in a row, a team of K’NEX employees will be participating in the Philadelphia Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis walk on May 18th. We invite you to walk with us.
