Winning Model: K'NEXatron the Destroyer!
For my entry I have made a seven and a half foot tall robot, named K'NEXatron the Destroyer. He has movable eyes, ears and mouth. He also has two ball cannons on each shoulder. I was inspired to build my K'NEXatron while watching the Matrix movies. It took me around two months to build my robot.

When did you start building with K'NEX?
When I was about five.

What was your most challenging K'NEX creation?
My most challenging K'NEX creation by far was K'nexatron the Destroyer because I had to design it to hold my weight and look cool.

Where did you come up with the idea for your winning model?
I loved the robots from the 'Iron giant' and 'The Matrix: Revolution' and I wanted to build something along the lines of them.

Do you have a favorite past K'NEXpert, if so who?
I think Ian's Belly of the Beast is awesome.

How many siblings do you have? What are their age(s) and gender?
I have two sisters, Bri (11) and Missy (9).

Do they build with K'NEX too? Do you build models together?
Not really. Missy Builds from time to time, but Bri mostly reads.

What are your favorite hobbies (besides building with K'NEX)?
Claymation and sculpting.

What is your favorite subject in school?
History and art.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
An artist or maybe a K'nex designer.

What has been the coolest part about being a 2009 K'NEXpert?
Going to New York and meeting so many really cool people.
